car wash day

It was such a nice fall day out today, so I decided to be nice and wash my girl's car. I couldn't let the beater go untouched though, so a wash and wax for my baby and everybody's happy

Out with the new in with the old

The eBay tails that I ranted and raved about have become a loathsome pain in the ass lately so I decided to swap back to stock tails. It looks alot better and I'm sure people at night enjoy the fact I have brake lights now

Shifty

Well the noise kinda went away in my tranny so I'm in a better mood. But this damn rain won't go away!! Boredom led to me making a new shifter out of an extra one I had laying around. Threw on a trucker shift knob I got from a buddy and BAM! Instant trucker style!

Clickity-Clack

is the sound my transmission is making. Pretty sure it's my throw out bearing but I have to check anything I can without having to rip the tranny out. If it is indeed my TOB, it's time for some more upgrading. Solid tranny mount, solid subframe bushings, solid diff bushing, welded diff will all be things I will definately be doing if I have to drop my tranny. I need to find a lift, I've done this whole trans removal deal before lying on my back and it is NOT fun. Hope it's just a loose bolt I can get to easily. I'll know soon hopefully.
